Terrestrial Invertebrate Taxon Advisory Group
TITAG was established under the auspices of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) to address the pressing need for attention to invertebrate animals within member institutions. TITAG provides support and guidance for the conservation and managed care of invertebrates in educational facilities.

Why Invertebrates?
Life on earth depends on these little animals for pollination, predation, decomposition, and more

Conservation
TITAG helps coordinate species breeding efforts and habitat restoration for the spineless animals that run the earth

Education
At our annual conference, educators and keepers share information to help everyone appreciate inverts

TITAG Goals and Values
We facilitate communication among professionals, institutions, and AZA members involved with the educational exhibition, conservation and captive propagation of invertebrates
IECC Annual Meeting
The annual Invertebrates in Education and Conservation Conference (IECC) brings together professionals from a wide variety of zoological, exhibit design and educational backgrounds, along with the interested general public. We share our relevant expertise and experiences in a rich biological setting in Tucson Arizona.
